Norton Family








Featured here is the Norton family: Jack and Carla with children Emily (16) and Jackson (2) and the king of the household - Baxter (77 in dog years). Jack is President and CEO of Lea+Elliott, Inc. - a transportation consulting firm. He works with many clients and teaming partners on a national and international basis to coordinate activities for major transportation projects. He is active in several airport and transit industry associations and currently a Board Member of the Support Sky Harbor Coalition in Phoenix. Carla has been promoted to CEO in charge of Jackson after stepping down from an executive position in the banking industry. The Norton’s enjoy living in Colleyville where Emily is an honor student at Colleyville Heritage High School.

Dick Turner is senior partner of Law Offices of Turner Monahan. Dick attended T.C.U. where he played on the Frog Baseball team. While at T.C.U. he was All Southwest Conference and vote Most Valuable Player. Dick received his J.D. from the University of Houston. Dick is past president of Johnson County Bar Association. He is currently a member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and is licensed to practice in Federal Court in the Northern District of Texas.

Tyler Monahan was born and reared in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended T.C.U. where from he graduated the Neely School of Business. Tyler received his J.D. from Texas Wesleyan School of Law. He is a member of the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association and the Tarrant County Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.

Keeton Monahan graduated from T.C.U. and is currently attending Texas Wesleyan School of Law. She will graduate in May of 2012. While at Texas Wesleyan she has been involved in the Texas Wesleyan Innocence Project and Law Clinic. She has also volunteered at Cook's Children's Hospital and is active in Kid's Hope, USA. Keeton is currently a law clerk with the Law Offices of Turner Monahan.

Sydney Turner was born and reared in Fort Worth. She is a past member of Junior League of Forth Worth, Junior Women's Club of Fort Worth and has served on the Mayfest Central Committee. Sydney has done volunteer work for Project Charlie, a drug prevention program for elementary school children. Sydney is currently the office manager for Turner Monahan.

The Oujesky family has resided in North Richland Hills since 1991. Ray served as a NRH City Council member for five years and Municipal Judge for NRH, Richland Hills and Haltom City for thirteen years. He is employed as a Senior Attorney for Chesapeake Energy where he supports the company’s operations in the Barnett Shale region of North Texas. Rita is a Vice President/Financial Consultant with the Fort Worth office of Morgan, Keegan Financial Services and has been helping clients achieve their financial goals for over 25 years. Ray sits on the board of directors of the Community Enrichment Center, a non-profit corporation that provides transitional housing for economically challenged families and victims of domestic violence and operates a food pantry, among other support programs. Rita is a member of the North Hills Hospital board of directors and a board member of the Birdville ISD Education Foundation. Their daughter Madeline (16) is a junior at Richland High School where she is a varsity cheerleader and member of the National Honor Society. Their daughter Jillian (11) is a sixth-grader at North Richland Middle School and enjoys drama, junior high Bible class. "

"Our featured family is Dr. Michael & Mrs. Fite. From left to right is their oldest son, Trey and his wife, Merideth, of Jersey City, New Jersey. Mike & Shawn Fite, their 3 year old grandson, and the newest addition 7 month old grandson with their parents, Trent & Regan Fite of Aledo.
Dr. Fite, and Obstetrician/Gynecologist in Fort Worth for the past 34 years, recently retired from Obstetrics, and now specializes in Gynecology with an emphasis on Bioidentical Hormone Therapy for premenopausal and menopausal women. Dr. Fite evaluates the needs of each patient using saliva hormone testing, measuring Vitamin D level and bone density, as well as nutritional needs.
Shawn Fite, owner of Fite Builders, is a custom home builder and general contractor in Fort Worth. She has a special interest in the historical areas of Fairmount and Mistletoe Heights. She is enjoying her new vocation after a career in nursing and raising her family.

Tom is a CPA and CFO of Standard Utility with 25 years of experience as an Accounting/Finance professional. He is a member of the Fort Worth Chapter of the Texas Society of CPAs. Beth is a member of the Texas Library Association and the Texas State Teachers Association and is the librarian at Speer Elementary in Arlington ISD. Glen is a Broadcast Journalism major at Oklahoma State University and a 2008 graduate of Nolan Catholic High School. Also a Nolan Catholic graduate, class of 2011, Molly is an English major at Texas A&M University. Mary Beth is a busy sophomore at Arlington High School. The Brockenbushes attend St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, where Tom is a lector and member of the Knights of Columbus. After hosting a Northern Irish teen this summer, the family continues to be active in the Ulster Project. In the spring, Beth helped organize the first Speer Fun Run, which Standard Utility sponsored and in which both Tom & Beth participated. Tom is a past Board Member of the Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation. Tom and Beth have been involved in the YMCA of Arlington, Optimist Club of Arlington, Boys Scouts & Girls Scouts & St. Maria Goretti Catholic School."

Jennifer is Vice President of Business Development and Engineering at Athlon Energy, a growing start-up company. Erich is on the board of Fort Worth Sister Cities International, Communities In Schools Tarrant County and Fort Worth Wildcatters. Richard Stallcup is the Chief Technologist at DCG Systems, Inc. he and his wife Carmen live in Frisco, TX with their children Jack and Lucy. Steve Stallcup is the principal at Stallcup Group, Inc., and lives in Keller, TX with his 9 year old daughter Bella. Fred and Nicole Stallcup lives in Nashville, TN with their daughter M.J. Fred has a successful career as a band member in the country music industry.

The Stallcup family has lived most their lives in West Texas and DFW. In very recent years they have realigned their priorities to focus on frequent family gatherings to share and enjoy the lives of their young children with each other. Michael and Janet Barnard are featured here with their family in their backyard on Lake Worth. Michael is President of LBL Architects a Tarrant County architectural firm that specializes in the design of Hospitals, Public Buildings, Schools and Churches. LBL Architects recently won the Mayor's Award for their design of Tarrant County Sub-Courthouse in Arlington as presented by the American Institute of Architects, Fort Worth. Michael was formerly Vice President of AIA Fort Worth and is President of the North Lake Worth Neighborhood Association. Janet helps with Interior Design at LBL, is involved at Church and cares for the extended family.

Michael and Janet have attended the Hills Church of Christ for 30 years where Michael now serves as an Elder. The Church has grown to over 5,000 members and now has 3 campuses, North Richland Hills, South Lake and West Fort Worth. Michael and Janet are attending the new campus in west Fort Worth that is growing quickly.

Michael and Janet have been married 34 years, have a son Chad (32) who works in construction administration at LBL, a daughter Chelsea (27) an Art Teacher at Northwest ISD (pictured here with her husband Dustin Rhoads), a daughter Carli (26) a Hair Designer at Michael Raymond Salon in north Dallas (pictured here with her husband Cameron Scroggins).

Dr. and Mrs. Phil Anthony are pictured here with their son Philip, their daughter Amy and her husband Richard Graham. Phil and Maryanne were both raised in Fort Worth. They married over 30 years ago in the home where they raised their children. Phil graduated from Arlington Heights High School before attending Austin College and Baylor Medical. He is a second generation ear surgeon, national leader in laser surgery of the inner ear, and has practiced for 30 years in Fort Worth. He is CEO of Anthony Hearing Aids and VertiGONE, a home treatment for dizziness company. Maryanne attended Paschal High School before receiving her undergraduate and Master’s degrees in education from Texas Tech. She is active in the Tarrant County Medical Society Alliance, The Woman's Club, Jewel Charity Ball and a past President of Canwick and Roundelay Clubs. She plays tennis regularly. She spends most of her time trying to keep the rest of the family organized. Philip graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Petroleum Engineering and currently works at Jetta Operating Company in Fort Worth. He spends his free time wakeboarding, hunting, and playing golf. Amy has her undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from the University of Texas and is a CPA. She currently works in financial reporting for TXU Energy. She enjoys running, reading, and spending time at home with her family. Richard also has his undergraduate and graduate degrees in business from University of Texas and is a CPA. He is a financial analyst at Dell Services. Richard is originally from Austin and is an avid Longhorn fan. He and Amy live in Dallas with their dachshund puppy, Penny. Both Philip and Amy attended Fort Worth Country Day School in Fort Worth.The Anthonys feel blessed to have made Fort Worth their home and have the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful community.

The Hernandez Family made Fort Worth their home 10 years ago. Dr. Angel Hernandez is a pediatric neurologist with subspecialty training in epilepsy who founded the comprehensive epilepsy program at Cook Children’s Medical Center. He is currently the director of the division of child neurology at this institution. Gabriela formerly a marketing manager at a publishing company, is now busy raising their two daughters Victoria (12) and Isabela (9). Both Angel and Gabriela are very busy in the community. Angel serves as chair of the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas Professional Advisory Board and member of the board of directors of the National Epilepsy Foundation of America; he also serves as vice-chairman of the Cook Children’s Home Health Company board of trustees and their daughter’s school Southwest Christian School.

He is a former partner in the law firm of Cantey & Hanger where he was Board Certified in Civil Trial Law. Karen, a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, was formerly Miss Arlington, an Apache Belle, a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, and a finalist in the Miss Texas USA Pageant. They live with their children in Aledo and enjoy spending time at their ranch near Meridian.

Bennett is the Executive Vice President of Affiliated Bank, a $200 million independent bank headquartered in Arlington providing the DFW metroplex with all banking and mortgage products. Bennett has served on various boards in the community through the years and is currently a director of the Arlington Children's Charities.

While their children attended Arlington schools, Leah was involved in Junior Leage and PTA. She has recently partnered with the Doctors that created ProActiv on their new business venture, Rodan+Fields Dermatologists. Leah represents the new product line and recruits executives across the country.

Leah & Bennett enjoy their empty nest, traveling and spending time with dear friends. With a senior and junior attending University of Alabama, they are eagerly anticipating the upcoming football season.

Dr. Mary & Rick Robb


Texans Mary and Rick Robb settled in Fort Worth as newlyweds 26 years ago. Mary had just begun her General Dentistry Practice in North Richland Hills and Rick was a KC-135 Tanker pilot assigned to Carswell AFB. They have been active members of the local community with Mary currently serving as President of the Board of Trustees of HCA North Hills Hospital. Her other activities include service on the Business Advisory Board of the American National Bank of Texas, the Personnel Committee of the family’s congregation at Wedgwood Baptist Church as well as the American Legion Auxiliary at Benbrook Post 297. Rick is currently an international pilot with Delta Air Lines and serves on the Board of Trustees of Southwest Christian School. He recently became a Tarrant County Republican Precinct Chairman and also serves as a County Elections Judge. Rick is also a member of American Legion Post 297. Their son, Tyler, is a 2009 graduate of Southwest Christian and currently attends Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, majoring in International Business. He owns Fix-It! Computer Services, a technology consulting and optimization company which he has operated since he was 16. Daughter, Christine, is a Sophomore at Southwest Christian, active in Varsity Basketball, Golf, Jazz Band, Youth And Government and Junior World Affairs Council. Her goal is to attend the U.S. Air Force Academy upon her graduation. The family also actively supports the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Fort Worth Pregnancy Lifeline, Texas Right to Life and the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Keith and Debbie Pittman are featured here with their family. Keith is Senior Vice President of Operations for Ben E. Keith Foods where he has worked for 41 years. A native of Fort Worth, Keith is an alumnus of TCU and proud supporter. In addition to serving on many industry boards, Keith has been an active community volunteer serving on the boards of Tarrant County Society to Prevent Blindness, Harris Methodist Health Exchange, and the Neely Business School Advisory Board. Debbie, a Georgia native, holds degrees from Liberty University and Southwestern Baptist Seminary (MRE). She works in National Accounts for Ben E. Keith Beverages.

Son Chris and wife Mary, both TCU graduates (’92 and ’96), live in Dallas where he is a VP at JP Morgan Securities. They have two daughters, Anna (10), and Lauren (7). Son Kevin, a Trinity graduate (’95) and wife Heather, University of Minnesota graduate (‘98), live in Fort Worth where Kevin works in the Pharmaceutical Industry for Regency Therapeutics . They have “my three sons” with twins Ethan and Orrin (8) and baby Wyatt (1). Daughter, Carrie Thomas, a graduate of SMU (’99) and husband Graham, a Texas Tech graduate (‘01) live in Flower Mound. Carrie works for CITI Bank in Community Development. Sons Jonathan (UT) and Joel Hawkins (Texas Tech) are recent (spring ’11) college graduates.

Scott & Kelli Cook


Kelli and Scott Cook are pictured with their three children, Robbie (20), Riley (17) and Remington (14). Scott, a TCU graduate, is a partner with Momentum Capital Partners, a private equity firm. He also serves as the CEO of Advantage Billing Network and the CEO of Momentum Metals & Recycling. Kelli is a part-time bookkeeper and spends most of her time volunteering at her children’s school through the PTA and the Athletic Booster Club. They have been active members of Christ Chapel Bible Church for 17 years. Robbie is a junior at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee where he is majoring in International Urban Studies. He is a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity and serves as a student trustee on the Board of Trustees for the college. Riley is a senior in high school where she plays volleyball, soccer and serves as co-editor of the yearbook. Remi is a high school freshman and plays volleyball at school and on a select club team. When the family is not busy with sports, they all volunteer on behalf of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation raising funds for the cure, treatment and prevention of Type 1 diabetes. In addition, Scott serves on the JDRF Board of Directors.

Michael & Pay DeWoody of Fort Worth with Joseph & Kimberly DeWoody and Ryan & Regan Haggerty. Michael is 35 year veteran in the Oil & Gas industry and Founder & President of Pendragon Oil Co. He recently teamed up with his son, Joseph and son-in-law, Ryan, to start Clear Fork Royalty to acquire and manage Oil & Gas assets throughout the United States. Michael & Pat are members of the Fort Worth Club, Petroleum Club, and Ridglea Country Club and Christ Chapel Bible Church. Pat is also active in the Fort Worth Garden Club.

Joseph and Kimberly each earned two degrees from Baylor University. Joseph graduated with his MBA in 2006, and is also active as a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Baylor "B" Association and the Vision Fort Worth Steering Commitee. Kimberly graduated from Baylor in 2005, with her Master in Accountancy and is currently an Audit Manager with Whitley Penn LLP. She is active in Junior League, the Baylor Network Steering Committee and Chi Omega Alumni activities. Joseph and Kimberly are members of the Fort Worth Club, Petroleum Club and Rivercrest County Club and are members of Christ Chapel Bible Church.

Regan & Ryan are also both graduates of Baylor University. Regan is the Director of Special Events for The Botanical Research Institute of Texas, and is active with Make-A-Wish. Ryan is currently studying for his MBA from the Cox School of Business at SMU; he is a 2011 graduate of the Leading Edge program and serves on the Board of the 12.48 Foundation and Downtown YMCA. Regan and Ryan are active members at the Fort Worth Club and Christ Chapel Bible Church where they serve as small group leaders.

Keith & April Riewe are featured here with daughter Presley (16 months). This family is proudly born and raised Texan. Keith grew up in Austin and is a graduate from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas. April is from Flower Mound and graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. In the spring of 2002, the couple met and their love has been blooming ever since. Keith is the owner and President of Bice’s Florist. Bice's has been awarded Top 100 Florist in the United States for over 3 decades. This award is one of the most prestigious in the industry with over 36,000 florists competing for the honor. Bice’s Florist was also awarded the 2010 "Business Of The Year" by the HEB Chamber of Commerce. In addition to being a family man and businessman, Keith is also a dedicated leader of the community serving as member of the Hurst Euless Bedford Rotary Club, Southlake Chamber of Commerce Board, and the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board.
Keith and April are actively involved in community service and strive to give back to the community through contributing time and money to many varied organizations and foundations with an emphasis on education and family.

West Alzheimer Center, Treasurer of the TCU Lettermen’s Association, and on the Executive Committee of the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate. In addition to caring for Libby, Charity finds time to be involved in various leadership positions in the Fort Worth Junior League and stays active in Lena Pope Home’s Young Professional Advocates. Steve and Carol Siddons are blessed to call Fort Worth, Texas home. Steve is the owner/principal in Frank Siddons Insurance Agency Fort Worth and Carol is retired from a public affairs company based in Austin, Texas. They collectively have four wonderful children and eight incredible grandchildren ages 1-15 and two boxers, Susie and Roxie. Steve and Carol have many wonderful friends and enjoy entertaining every opportunity they have. They are both devoted TCU fans and are avid hunters and travel near and far from Africa and South America to add to their collection of wild game. Carol is an avid gardener and spends her free time gardening, doing various yoga classes and splitting her time with their grandchildren.

Homer Robertson


Homer Robertson and his son Ty Robertson of Granbury. Captain Homer Robertson is a
26-year member of the Fort Worth Fire Department where he manages the City of Fort Worth’s fire apparatus fleet. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Technology and a M.S. in Political Science from Tarleton State University. Homer is an accomplished chuck wagon cook using his 100-year-old chuck wagon to compete and cater food event throughout the southwest and is currently the reigning National Champion Chuck Wagon cook. He also has appeared on Food Network’s “Throwdown” with Bobby Flay serving as a food judge.
Ty will be a sophomore at Granbury high School this fall where he is a Member of the Pirate marching band. He also serves as the President of the Lake Granbury 4-H club and is an Officer in the Granbury FFA chapter where he shows lambs throughout the state including the Fort Worth Stock Show and is a state range-judging qualifier. Jordan & Angie Fanning


Jordan and Angie Fanning are pictured here with their son Matt, his wife Ashley and their 4-month-old son Caden, and son Jake. Jordan and Angie are high school sweethearts who recently celebrated their 30th anniversary. They founded J&S Air, Inc. in Arlington over 20 years ago, and sold it this past year. Angie and son Matt own Fanning Properties, a real estate investment company. Jake is an International Politics and Diplomacy major at UNT, and Ashley is a stay-at-home mom. Jordan and Angie have been involved with many community activities, such as Habitat for Humanity, Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Relay for Life and Meals on Wheels. Angie has served on several boards, including the Mansfield Area Chamber of Commerce and the Community Services Foundation, and is currently working on her MBA at Dallas Baptist University. Jordan is enjoying his best title of all - Granddad to baby Caden. The Fannings reside in Burleson.

Scott, and Cynthia Prince are featured here with their son, Ryan (12) and their dogs Bear, Hank and Trax. After living in Denver Colorado and Portsmouth New Hampshire, Cynthia and Scott decided to move back to their hometown to raise their son. Scott spends his spare time serving on the Executive Committee and serves as the Treasurer for the Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate. His love of Fort Worth's Western Heritage stems from his upbringing here as well as the years he & Cynthia, his wife of 16 years, spent on the horse show circuit where Cynthia was both a competitor & trainer. Tonday Cynthia enjoys volunteering at her son's school (and her alma mater) Fort Worth Country Day. She also enjoys her time participating in Cook Children's new group, 7th Avenue, which she helped start in 2009. Cynthia & Scott love playing tennis & entertaining & cooking for friends & family. Ryan loves all things sports and is an avid snow skier, soccer & tennis player.

Jonathan & Whitney Mock


Jonathan and Whitney Mock are pictured here with their three daughters, Haden (9), Catherine (6) and Sophie (4) at their home near TCU. They’ve lived in Fort Worth since college, where Jonathan was a member of the Horned Frogs baseball team. As one might expect, the Mocks are avid TCU fans today. Jonathan is a partner with Site Property Company, a Fort Worth-based real estate development firm in the wireless/cellular industry. He received his MBA from SMU. He also serves on the regional advisory board of Make-A-Wish Foundation. Prior to staying home with children, Whitney worked in retail banking. Today she is very active at the girls’ school. She also volunteers time for The WARM Place. Haden will be a fifth grader at Trinity Valley School next year, while Catherine (1st grade) and Sophie (kindergarten) will attend Tanglewood Elementary. All three Mock girls play a different sport. Haden plays volleyball, Catherine baseball, and Sophie soccer. Needless to say, the family is very busy during Spring and Fall weekends shuttling between games and practices. In spare time, the family plays golf, tennis, and swims at Colonial Country Club.

Nober Family


Jane and Roger Nober are pictured with their three sons and the family’s standard poodle. The Nobers moved from the Washington, D.C. area to Fort Worth almost four years ago and are settling into life in Texas! Roger is Executive Vice President, Law and Secretary at BNSF Railway. He has had a long career in transportation, having served in various government positions for 15 years, including in the administration of President George W. Bush, before joining the railroad in January of 2007. He serves on the board of Cook Children’s Medical Center. Jane is an active volunteer at Fort Worth Country Day, where the boys are at lower, middle and upper school respectively. Since moving to Fort Worth, she has served on a number of community boards, including the Tarrant Literacy Council, Beth-El Congregation, Lil Goldman Early Learning Center and Fort Worth Symphony. Living in Fort Worth, the boys are on their way to becoming Texans. They are avid sports fans and have become strong TCU and Rangers supporters. They also participate in a range of sports, including baseball, tennis, soccer, wrestling and cross-country.

He is with his family-wife of 32 years, Valerie Naylor Riefenstahl, daughter, Marie, “Tati” Rodriguez, and sons, from left, Andrew Naylor, Austin Allan and Edward Alexander Riefenstahl. Ed and family have lived in Grapevine for over 22 years. Ed says he wasn’t born in Texas but got here as soon as he could and married a 6th generation native so he could “blend in”.

Kenneth was also inducted into The Texas Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2007. Loretta is a retired Vice President of Frost Bank. Keith & Jackie’s youngest daughter Alexa has been on the Head Master’s List for the past two years at The Oakridge School & their oldest daughter Kristen plays All-Conference volleyball for Oklahoma Baptist University. Kelley is a counselor at Kennedale High School & Frank is an engineer for Bell Helicopter. David & Kathy Cooley are retired educators with the Mansfield School District.

Brock & Maggie Stevens


Fort Worth, Texas, what a great place to call home. Brock and Maggie Stevens have two wonderful children, Palmer (12) and Stewart (9). They are members of McKinney Bible Church. Brock is the owner of a vending company and stays very busy with charity work with the Henry House Foundation, the Ben Hogan Foundation and others. He is a singer/songwriter, loves golf and most of all watching his boys play all sports. Maggie stays busy as Director of Special Education at Everman ISD. She’s a graduate of TCU. She volunteers at the boy’s school and church camps. “We all have trials and tribulations in life but if you laugh, you think and cry, that’s a full day.”

The Milton Family. Pictured are Henry Milton and Dr. Amani Terrell Milton and their two children, Micah (age 2) and Elijah (age 4). Henry and Amani are both from the Dallas area. They met while he was working as a psychiatry therapist at Children's Medical Center in Dallas and Amani was a third year medical student at UT Southwestern. They moved to Cincinnati in 2005, where Amani did her pediatric residency training and Henry worked as an addiction counselor. They moved to Fort Worth in 2008 and have been there ever since. Currently, Amani is an inpatient pediatrian at Cook Children's Hospital and Henry is a child development fellow at TCU.

This year A.P.U. celebrates 25 years of business repairing and restoring automobiles, specializing in Corvettes. Chuck, his wife Sharon, and Dave have been active in the Texas chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society for many years. Sharon is a fianance manager for a large tech company. Perry & Kyle (Pat) Tong


There’s no smokescreen when it comes to Perry and Kyle (Pat) Tong. Perry grew up in Fort Worth, attended Handley High School and graduated from Arlington State College (UTA) in 1962. Pat graduated from Paschal High School and attended Texas Woman’s University and TCU. They currently reside in the Ridglea area.
After leaving a management position in the financial world, Perry founded a film and talent company in 1969 to produce live music events and furnish talent for live television programs. From 1982 until 2000 the couple produced “Scuba World,” an underwater travel adventure series filmed worldwide and airing on the Travel Channel. In 1999, they established Pop’s Safari Cigars & Fine Wines, a popular local cigar bar and bistro. Pat spends much of her time in feline rescue projects as well as managing the couple’s three companies. Perry has been a member of the Cigar Smoker Board for the Fort Worth Library Foundation for six years. Additionally, Pop’s Safari raised money through special events for the 911 survivors and victims of Hurricane Katrina. Pop’s sends cigars monthly to our troops overseas and frequently accepts food donations for the SPCA Shelter and Tarrant Food Bank.

Mr. & Mrs. Richard Dewey


Mr. & Mrs. Richard Dewey of Southlake, soon to be residents of Fort Worth, have been searching for some time for a retirement community that provided all of the amenities, four levels of health care, proximity to a lively cultural district and a proven non-profit management team. They are delighted to be moving into the Stayton on Museum Way this November. Mr. Dewey is a retired Senior Partner of Baker Law Firm in Houston. He has been married to his wife, Marion for 54 Years.

Frances & Tommy Cox


Frances and Tommy Cox are both retired and looking forward to a move in the fall to The Stayton at Museum Way, the new senior living complex in So7. Tommy retired as a Claim Superintendent with State Farm Insurance and Frances was formerly an educator and personnel administrator with the Fort Worth schools. Since retirement, Frances has volunteered at Baylor All Saints Medical Center in the Chaplain's office and at Trinity Episcopal Church and is an active member of Bosom Buddies, a cancer support group. Tommy serves as an usher at Trinity, volunteers with Habitat for Humanity and enjoys a weekly poker game. Their West Highland Terrier, named Winston, rules the roost!

Trey & Jennifer Loftin


The Loftin family: Trey, Jennifer, Jurrien (6), Meagan (4), Patricia Janae (3), and Darren (19 mo.) are pictured here outside their Aledo home. Trey Loftin, a 5th generation Texan, was recently appointed judge of the 43rd Judicial District Court in Parker County. Prior to his appointment, Trey worked as an attorney doing primarily criminal and family law. Trey is Board Certified in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Trey is on the board of New Day Services helping promote chaplain care and free classes and services for children and families in the court systems. He and Jennifer serve together teaching children's church and enjoy a busy life with the children, which includes cheering on the kids favorite team -- Gary Patterson's TCU Horned Frogs! The family raises hunting-bred English Cocker Spaniels. Three of their dogs are shown in the photo: "Trigger", "Pato", and "Spot." The children love caring for puppies and Trey is proud to show off their amazing hunting skills

Randy & Sara Taylor


It just doesn’t get any better than spending time with their Four Children. Randy and Sara have spent 30 years together after meeting at the United States Air Force Academy (‘80) & (‘81). They spent 20 years traveling the world for the Air Force. Their four children Briana, Cameron, Colin, and Liam were born in the Philippines, Florida, Canada, and Texas. The whole family is kept busy in various activities at their church, St Michael the Archangel of Garland as well as with their other individual interests. Briana will finish her Nursing degree this June and acts and sings with the local C.O.R.P theatre, in Rowlett, Texas. Her most recent role was Glinda the good witch in "The Wizard of Oz". Cameron is a senior at the US Air Force Academy where he can’t wait to start his Air Force Career. He will be assigned in the field of Maintenance, after he graduates in May. His extra curricular activities include weight lifting and snowboarding. Colin is a junior at Jesuit College Preparatory High School - Dallas, where he is a Varsity swimmer and a member of the Men’s Chorus. He enjoys playing guitar and he also performs in the local theater with his brother and sister. Liam is a 4th grader at Hillside Academy - Garland. He plays piano, is a Webelos Cub Scout, is enrolled in Enriched Art classes at his school and also has acted in many a play/musical at the local theatre. One of the roles that was most fun was, JoJo, in "Seussical, the Musical" with his brother, Colin, as the Cat in the Hat! Randy has spent the last 30years flying various fighter aircraft to include the F-15C and F-5E. He flew the Boeing 737 with Delta airlines and currently flies the Gulfstream and Boeing Business Jet (BBJ) in corporate aviation. While not flying he is the General Manager of Peregrine Point LLC. The person that holds this all together is Sara. She is the quintessential organizer. She holds B.A degrees in French and Japanese. She volunteers at both boys’ schools and CoRP theater and she sings in the church choir with her daughter, Briana. Occasionally she even acts in the local theater group with her kids. There is never a dull moment in the Taylor household. As I said in the beginning, “Life just doesn’t get any better”.

Bill and Linda Bleibdrey arrived in Fort Worth nearly 10 years ago, finding a home here after stops in various states. Bill is Chief Financial Officer for Texas Wesleyan University, and has been involved in the past 10 years of significant growth and prosperity for the University. Linda has made a career in technology support, working with clients worldwide. Bill has recently completed a term as chairman of the board of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth, and both he and Linda donate their time to the hospital through volunteer work. Bill also serves on the Texas Health Harris Foundation Board, and the Texas Health Resources Investment sub-committee. Bill and Linda are active in Arborlawn United Methodist Church, where both serve as Stephen Ministers.

He is a Certified Public Accountant and enjoys coaching T-ball, spending time with family and boating. Scott is a native Texan. Amy, originally from Tennessee, has lived in Texas since 1991. She holds a Masters of Divinity Degree and works as a Chaplain for Texas Health Resources in Bedford She is an artist who has had her work featured in local venues. Travis is in Kindergarten and enjoys T-ball, anything with wheels and being 100% boy. Lindsey and Jason live in Keller. Lindsey is a graduate of Colleyville Heritage High School and the University of North Texas. She is employed as an account manager for Brightroom, Inc. in Fort Worth. Her hobbies include photography, running, and music. Jason works for Verizon Wireless as a NOC technician. He collects comic books, vintage video games, and vinyl records as hobbies. Abby lives in Lewisville and is a graduate of Colleyville Heritage High School and Duvall’s School of Cosmetology. She works for Jovie Salon as a mid-level stylist. Her hobbies include roller derby. Sulam is a native of Peru and came to be part of our family through an international host program in 2006. She is completing a degree in Biology at East Texas Baptist University.

Marvin & Shirley Applewhite


Marvin Applewhite is a native of Fort Worth, growing up the Birdville school district. He graduated from UT Arlington and Oklahoma State University (OSU) and holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering. Marvin met Shirley at OSU where she was pursuing a BA and Masters in Speech Communications. Following graduation, Marvin began a career in computers and software engineering with Texas Instruments (TI) and Shirley pursued a career in teaching and administration at several local universities including the University of Texas at Dallas. In 1994, the Applewhites moved to London, England where Marvin managed TI’s international software business and Shirley traveled and “collected everything that she could find”. Marvin and Shirley retired to East Texas in 1999 and last year purchased a home in Fort Worth. The Applewhites have partnered with Wes Clark of Dallas to form the Applewhite-Clark Collection which features artifacts from historical figures such as Sam Houston, Santa Anna and Ripley Arnold. Part of their collection is currently on exhibit at the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame in the Stockyards in Fort Worth. When not working with their collections, Marvin and Shirley are both active on several boards and advisory committees at The University of Texas at Arlington. Marvin is also on the Board of Trustees of the Alliance for Higher Education and the North Texas Regional Center for Innovation and Commercialization.

Lisa Vaughn


Lisa K. Vaughn, a Fort Worth trial attorney, is seen here with her two rescued Dobermans, Dusty and Vegas. Dusty (seen on the left), the smaller of Lisa’s two Dobermans, is a relatively rare blue Doberman whose ears have not been cropped. Lisa’s passion for Dobermans started back in 1995 when she rescued and trained the first of the four Dobermans she would eventually own. She’s been known to tell her clients “only your lawyer should be a junk yard dog.” Lisa has since become an ardent ambassador for Doberman Rescue North Texas, an organization that places unwanted or abandoned Doberman Pinschers in loving homes. The Beneski Family of Colleyville, TX. Ted Beneski is the CEO & Managing Partner of Insight Equity - a private equity firm based in Southlake. Insight has $800M of capital under management. The firm currently owns and manages 10 portfolio companies with approximately $1.6B in revenue. Ted is a 1978 graduate of Amherst College and a 1985 graduate of Harvard Business School. Laurie Beneski (seated) and Ted have been married for 30 years. Laurie has primarily been a full-time Mom for Kristin (24), Jeff (21) and David (19). She also works part time assisting with Insight’s human resource functions including managing all benefit programs. Laurie is also active in broadly supporting the cause of education and has served for many years as the Treasurer of her church. Kristin (standing) is a second year student at Georgetown Law School. She will be interning this summer with Lane and Powell in Seattle, WA. Jeff (center) is a senior at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. Jeff is majoring in geo-science, plans to attend graduate school, and has career interests in meteorology and planetary geology. David (kneeling) is a freshman at Trinity University. David plans to major in economics, mathematics and/or business, and plans to attend graduate school. Kristin, Jeff and David are all graduates of Grapevine High School.

Vicki retired in 2008 as a Texas Health Resources Executive and now spends her time volunteering with the Zonta Club of Fort Worth who is dedicated to helping advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy.
